Dear Parents and Coaches,

The summer is quickly approaching and it is now time to begin planning your child's summer activities.  As we have done the past 28 years, my coaches and I would like to invite your child to participate in the Just 4 Kicks Soccer Camp. Our camp is designed to teach each camper who attends the fundamentals of soccer, while having fun at the same time.  Each camper is taught the proper way to pass, trap, dribble and shoot, as well as crossing, defending, heading and so much more!  By allowing your children to attend our camp, you will be giving him or her the opportunity to improve as a player.

This year we will offer two weeks of camp, June 24-28 and July 8-12.  Both sessions are open to boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 11.  Each day of camp will be from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  This year's camp will be at Lafayette Middle School, which is located on the corner of W. Congress and University Ave.  Campers can be dropped off each morning between 8:15-8:30 a.m.

The cost of the week long camp is $150 per child.  As in the past, we offer discounts for individuals wishing to attend multiple weeks or families and teams who would like to attend together.  This year, groups of 3-6 campers who register at the same time will receive a $15.00 discount off each registration, while groups of 7 or more will each receive $25.00 off.  In order for the group discount to apply, all registration forms must be sent in together or use the same coupon code. Teams and groups can CLICK HERE to download a form or call me to receive a unique code for your team or group.  Again, all forms will need to be mailed in at the same time, with the payments, for the group discount to apply.  Also, campers attending as a group do not have to attend the same week or be the same age.

Each child who registers will receive a camp ball, a camp t-shirt, a participation medal, a camp photo and a certificate.  In addition, each camper will receive a personalized evaluation from their coach, which will highlight their progress and show what area they need to work on.

Campers are asked to bring their ball (with their name on it), sun screen (if needed) and refreshments/snacks for between sessions (i.e.  Powerade, water, fruit, chips, etc.).  Water fountains are available for anyone interested.  Also, we will have a concession stand open during breaks and will be selling Powerade, popsicles, chips, etc.  In the event your child loses a ball, water cooler or t-shirt, let me know as soon as possible, so our staff can try locating the missing items.
As mentioned above, our goal is to teach your child the fundamentals of soccer. As a result, our camp is structured in a way that will ensure your child is learning.  Each day is divided into 3 or 4 sessions, depending on the heat.  The first 2 or 3 sessions are for instructional purposes.  It is at this time that we will demonstrate and teach the correct way to pass, trap, dribble and shoot.  The last session of each day is for scrimmaging and will provide your child with the opportunity to use what he or she learned in actual game situations.
To register for the Just 4 Kicks Soccer Camp, please complete the online registration form (individuals only).  If you have any questions about camp, please feel free to call me at 781-KICK (5425).  As always, we are looking forward to working with your child this summer!

Keep Kicking,
Coach David

P.S.  If your child is currently on a soccer team, please share this information with his or her teammates and coaches. Groups of 3 or more who register together will each receive a discount!
